Robert G. Armstrong
Bob Armstrong is the founder and President of Armstrong Energy Corporation. He received his AA degree from New Mexico Military Institute, his BA from Washington & Lee University and his JD from the University of Texas School of Law. In the past he has served on the Board of Directors of PNM Resources, New Mexico's largest publicly traded company, and served as Chairman of the Board of Sunwest Bank of Roswell. He is currently on the Board of Directors of Independent Petroleum Association of New Mexico and is a member of the National Petroleum Council.
Bruce Stubbs is the Vice President of engineering/operations. He has consulted for Armstrong Energy Corporation for 16 years and joined the company full time in 2006. Mr. Stubbs graduated in 1972 from New Mexico State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and has over 36 years of industry experience. Mr. Stubbs serves as a director of the Eastern New Mexico University Roswell Foundation, New Mexico Energy Library and as Scholarship Chairman for the Society of Petroleum Engineers-Roswell Section. Mr. Stubbs is a Registered Professional Petroleum Engineer in Texas and New Mexico.
Ray T. (Tom) King, Jr.
Tom joined the firm in 2006 as Vice President of Exploration. Prior to joining the firm he spent 25 years with Elk Oil Company, whom Armstrong Energy Corporation acquired, as their Geologist. He has a B.S. in Earth Sciences from University of Arkansas and has completed all of the necessary course work and competencies towards an M.S. degree in Geology from Northeastern University in Monroe.
Mary Alice Lysak
Mary Alice joined the firm in 2004 as Chief Financial Officer, after spending nearly 12 years as a public accountant with Ritter and Company, LLC of Roswell. In addition to her C.P.A., she has a B.S. in Accounting from New Mexico State University. Mary Alice is also on the Board of Directors for the Roswell Museum and Arts Center Foundation.
Brian Carlozzi
Brian joined the firm in 2005 as Land Manager, after spending several years in commercial banking, most recently as an Account Manager for Bank of Oklahoma’s energy lending group. Brian has a B.S. from Oklahoma State University as well as an M.B.A. from the University of Central Oklahoma. Brian is currently a Vice President for the New Mexico Landmen’s Association. |
